Best of the Best
I love my older AppleTv so much (I have 3) that I wasn't sure about this new model. It's wonderful. Easy to set up and use. I don't care about viewing photos on it so I can't speak to that. I hate the whole photo thing these days - that every snapshot taken, whether a cereal box texted from the grocery store to personal documents - are blasted across the screen and/or internet automatically UNLESS I spend an exhaustive amount of time to weed through them. (It's a bigger pain to separate photos than to select and create an album of favorites) but I must be in the minority on that so I simply don't use it for photos. What I DO use it for, every day is streaming. I have the full DirecTv package but finding programs is easier on AppleTv than with DirecTv. Everything AppleTv says it will do - it does - the Apple way - simply but elegantly.

Works great if you have sun
My sister has one of these and it works like a charm. I made the mistake of buying one for my doorbell which is located under a shade tree. It didn’t work so great for me so make sure you have sun. Then it works like a charm
