I bought an used ipad air 2, it works well. The battery life is not amazing bit I also bought a long cable.
It was bought for a child and the 128 gb of storage is a welcoming upgrade from the 16 GB he had. No more uninstalling to install new games. It was impossible to buy movies for long travels because there was no space, we do not have that problem anymore.
I personally think it is fragile it trembles with the sound, but I bought a good case and hope it helps.
Overall my son is super happy!
And I am too because I can add lots of educational games without him complaining for losing entertainment.
A win win situation.
I have not used the cell chip yet so I cannot comment on that but it is nice to know that is there in case we travel and need the extra internet support.
I just wish Apple would sell a model with a strong protective case for kids.
