Pentax SF1 Camera

Best cheapest 35mm film camera from Pentax

I have two of these, one setup for BW and the other color, good easy to use camera, I found a data back and put it on the one I use for color, year is 00 to 99 so it will always be correct. This is a easy to use camera, set it for full auto and it takes great photos, you can also use it in manual mode to have full control when you get creative. I've owned a lot of Pentax cameras over the years and still have most of them and I still come back to the SF1's for shooting film. Good cameras good value and you can use almost any K-mount lens on it.

Good replacement,

Pretty close to a Bosch. Works well, the O-ring that comes with it is a little tight and you need to check the points. Comes with cap, rotor, points and cond, those are not the same quality as Bosch parts. I had just tuned up my bug and figured out the old distributer had too much play in it. So I put all the Bosch replacement parts into this one and they all fit, so no worries there. Good value for the money, car runs good, didn't try it with the points and stuff that came with it, they looked OK, just didn't appear to be of the same quality and I had the Bosch ones already.

Would be a great value if it worked!

Carb fit, but had to adjust the choke plate so it would close. Saw starts, but won't idle at all. Used the gaskets in this one to rebuild my old one. The fuel hose is a little bigger in diameter than stock so it was a bit of a challenge to install.
