Tama RoadPro Advanced Stands
These stands are amazing! I chose to go with the advanced over the regular tom stands because of the need for modularity. These stands provide exactly what I was looking for in how they allow tons of options in adjustment and this opens up plenty of room in positioning or placement. They are very high grade and have a good bit of weight to them; enough for you to mount any tom and be perfectly fine without them tipping over. The base wide enough to expand your foot print and modular and sturdy enough to minimize it. All I can say is that Tama got it right with these without having to go with the Star version. I use them on both my Starclassic kits; Maple and B/B in a 2 or 3 up 1 down configuration.

Perfect work horse
As an owner of many fine snares, I really wish that I would have purchased this snare sooner. For me, this snare makes me want to use it, meaning, when I go to grab a snare, I grab the 14x5.5 as I do not have to think about the sound for the situation. This snare works for all situations. If you are looking at the 14x6.5 and the 14x5.5, I would ask you to question the need. This 14x5.5 can sound as meaty as the 6.5 or as tight as you need it. The quality of this snare is second to none, bearing edges are smooth as silk and the finish is lacquered and not a Delmar wrap. Considering my working situation, all I added were lug locks and a Remo Emperor X and I was good to go!

One of the best on the market
Just like the rest, this kickport is great. The advantage is that the kickport sticker peels off cleanly for that clean chrome look that doesn't seem to chip or fade. Highly recommended!
