This is a great camera.
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm fairly proficient with a digital and am able to push the technology fairly far. This is a good model for users who want more than the slim point and shoot, yet don't want to put out the cash for a SLR. This camera has been to China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Mongolia and operated under some pretty extreme conditions with good results. The Double AA battery requirements might put off some who want the rechargeable lithium but I myself prefer the versatility of popping batteries the half dozen or so rechargeable I have in the camera when I am on remote shoots and away from electricity the lithium requires.
Eats through regular batteries like candy, but rechargeables last considerably longer. In all, this camera is a keeper and would recommend for those who don't want to pay the bigger bucks for the higher end features that most of us don't use.

Decent, but...
1 of 1 found this helpful Nice product but thought open box would be complete. Arrived without washers and cotter pins needed to attach unit. Got some from hardware store but it would have been nice to know it was incomplete unit.
