This version of the Bible misses the mark
Pro: This may be a good introduction to the Bible for children so long as they also have the KJV as a reference until their reading skills improve. Parents need to help them for sure. Con: This book left me dry. I put it down after Genesis and purchased the KJV bible. I purchased the book at the start of my Christian Journey because the KJV was hard to read. After applying myself to study, the KJV became easy to read and does not dumb down the word of God as in the Book.
