Good shears, great price. I can now give myself as good a haircut as the barber.
Good shears, great price. They do what they're supposed to, nicely. My own self-cut hair now looks pretty much as good as a paid barbershop cut. These shears will pay for themselves in their first use.

1 of 1 found this helpful I bought these on the advice of a colleague, who was a leading professional audio producer and audio-tech of the 80s. In researching a new mic + earphone tech he's developing now, he did a review of the leading high-end, pro-audio headphones. He found that while there are many, quite popular, and they can sell for hundreds of dollars, the Sony MDR-7502 retailing for about $100 is by far the best value and are still the standard against which others are measured. For consumers, even audiophiles and most producers, sound improvements other units offer over these represent diminishing audio quality gains for the cost. My experience with them is great. I got mine barely used for $65 on ebay, and I'm delighted. Sound and comfort are great for a variety of purposes. The ear pads began to flake and fall apart after about 18 months of use, but better, new PU leather pads are only $3 from HK.

Everyone over 45 should be using Waterpik Total Care Flosser & Brush
OMG, I should have gotten one of these years ago. The combination of the water flossing and the sonic toothbrush are fantastic! My mouth is positively vibrating, tingling with sensation after I'm done. It feels so good that I look forward to flossing and brushing, and am happy to spend as much as 6 minutes doing so in the evening (two tanks of water for flossing, and two two-minute cycles of brushing). If I'm rushing, I'm done in 3 minutes. I went to the dentist who recommended it to me the other day for a deep cleaning. I've had the water pick for 10 days, and he said other than scaling a little bit of tartar, there was NO plaque to clean! If you shop carefully on eBay you can get these Waterpik Total Care units, with flosser and brush, for as little as $35 (for an open box, unused unit), a fantastic value. Even at full retail, anyone who struggles to floss, regularly, or brush long enough, or has any dental hygiene issues, and everyone over 45 should get one of these. A dash of Listerine Mint in the water, and it's even better.
