The way things work.
2 of 2 found this helpful Just wanted to be able to view and share the photos stored on my iPad by showing them on my smart tv screen. Best I can tell this is the only way to accomplish that. Very cumbersome with all the cable hookups but does work once that’s done. Pretty much anything you can see on the iPad screen is shown on the tv. Streaming services are blocked, however, i.e. Xfinity, Amazon, DirecTV, etc. I’m told you can stream You Tube but I didn’t try. Resolution leaves a lot to be desired when iPad photo is projected on a large tv screen but it is there and is maneuverable. Pretty sure there has to be a better solution but for me this is just the way things work.
