This is the One. There is no equal.
I have used many powders in my life and especially when I worked as a makeup artist. In my experience, this powder, whether loose or pressed, beats everything else, hands down. No talc, beautiful, sheer, blurs imperfections, stays on all day and is also amazing on the face in photos and on film. Francois Nars being a professional photographer developed it to function perfectly. Don't settle for less than the best!

Tarteist Pro, what you should know.
Genuine Tarte product. It comes in a sleek and durable case, stylish black with gold lettering and good mirror inside.16 matte colors, 4 metallics. Colors are mostly warm tones, despite how they look in pictures. The medium to dark colors are extraordinarily pigment-rich and smooth, blending well. The only drawback is some fallout with dark colors. I recommend dusting under eyes with translucent powder before applying and not applying foundation, etc, until done with eyes. The light colors used for highlighting beneath brow bone or over eye primer are quite sheer. Personally, I prefer these colors to have a lot of pigment for a more dramatic effect. Nevertheless, they blend nicely. The size of each color is very small--about dime size. I guess I am a diva of sorts and prefer things larger than life-size. But if you are looking for a travel-perfect palette, then this is it! 20 gorgeous shades in a compact and I-apologize=for-the-redundancy-durable, solid case...perfect for travel. If you are OCD about your makeup, it will also fit in your purse. If you carry a blush brush with you, (assuming you are that OCD person like me) you can even lightly touch up cheek color with some of the softer shades. These colors can be applied wet or dry, as with most good quality, high-end makeup. No matter how applied, colors stay true for hours and hours--I still had beautiful color on my eyes even at 24 hours. I did, however use an eyeshadow primer and a setting spray. But I'd wager that even if you didn't use these adjunct products and just applied the shadows wet, you'd have similar results. All in all, this is a steal. As a diva and former MUA, I highly recommend it.
