Car Satellite Radio Receiver Mounting Kit Sirius XM Vehicle Portable Dock Music

I really like it, except mine may be defective because I have to wiggle it to maintain the electrical connection.

It is great in concept - love the two usb ports, the power connection to the radio head, and that it is the mounting bracket for the radio head. I like the red light that says there is power. Problem is, the connection to electricity is not consistent. I have to 'wiggle' it each time to get the red light to come on. This is annoying in the least, and a dangerous distraction at its worst. Is mine defective? Or do they all have this flaw?
