SAKRETE ShapeCrete 20 lb. Shape-able Concrete Mix

Save money, use a topping mix or mix your own hypertufa
I'm a sculptor who works with cement, clay, and mosaic. Don't expect ShapeCrete to act like clay. You can't sculpt freeform or make 3D objects that well; you'll need to use a support around the base. I wanted to give this a try by making the most difficult part of a Japanese lantern, the hollowed interior, but it just wouldn't hold its form. I even created an armature to hold the sides, but the consistency wouldn't allow it to hold up. Save your money and buy an 80lb bag of topping mix for $5 at Home Depot. Mix that with fibers or make a hypertufa mix and you'll get close to the same consistency as this product. Don't forget to wear a respirator when mixing cement products!

Inexpensive alternative for Innova inflatable kayak
I didn't want to pay $45 to mount a fin on my Helios inflatable kayak. Innova charges way too much for a fin with shipping. This one works well providing you are willing to cut it down to size (very easy) and make sure you get a good solid fit in the mount.
