Jiggle, jiggle
VERY sloppy tolerances when used with a Precision Design PD-58PVTR tripod equipped with a QR head supposedly made to use QR adapter plates of this type (QB-4W). My gear, whether camera or iPad or cell phone in a cradle is not held rigidly on the tripod using this product.
Still, it does work, and will not fall off the mount, as long as you are not too particular about the extent of motion allowed.
Otherwise, price point is a great incentive.
