Great Little Tool for Small Pickup Jobs
2 of 2 found this helpful Nice product. Not as sleek as some of the "industrial designer" conceived brands, but sports rugged good looks and runs like a bear.
Find a closet corner to prop it up against when not in use. Better still, keep it in an out -of-the-way corner of your kitchen or other room where you regularly need to have it handy. Its ready in a flash to dispense with tracked-in-dirt, spilled cat food, whatever would ruin the good looks of your floors if not dealt with quickly. No need to pull out that pesky corded canister vacuum from a distant closet and search for a nearby outlet that isn't already fully occupied with plugs from other "necessary" appliances like the fridge.
The noise level is not minimal, but not highly objectionable either. Enough to let you know that there is a goodly amount of air flow and lift being generated. Naturally it doesn't have as much suction as a bigger, heavier corded vacuum, but the trade off is convenience! For large jobs you still have to pull out the canister or upright, but with one of these you can avoid doing that in many instances.

Good Tool if Used Properly
1 of 1 found this helpful Product works well, but there is some operator learning required in order to efficiently cut several layers of shingles at a time, as in trimming rake overhangs. Blades need to be sharp (they can be touched up with a fine chainsaw file), don't try to pull blades too hard through shingles--let the tool do the work. It also helps to keep the sides of the blades wet with lubricant ( silicone spray works for me) to help reduce the amount of asphalt buildup on the blades, which definitely increases friction, loads the tool down and impedes cutting action.

Professional Grade
This is professional grade equipment. It does require some skill and experience to get the best results with this pole saw, but if used correctly it will outperform many other pole saws on the market.
The blade is easily attached to the pole for use and detached for storage. The pole is rigid enough in the vertical plane to cut branches when the pole sections are all fully extended, which is something that cannot be said about every pole saw on the market.
Use it properly and take care of it--like not forcing the blade into the cut, and cleaning the blade after use--and it should provide a long, useful service life.
