Great walk-around lens!
3 of 3 found this helpful The Canon 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Lens provides for a great walk-around general purpose lens. The 28mm would be nice if it were in the 15-18mm range for buildings and landscapes, but overall the 28mm gives good results (can't have everything, right?)
The pictures are good to exceptional for this class lens, and it is one I am glad to own as it sits on my 40D's body more than any other lens I own. As Canon lenses go, I consider this above average in build and overall quality, and a tough one to beat for the price.
I would recommend this lens to anyone who has or wants the wide range telephoto capabilities it provides. It has been a solid performer for me.
