Nice Accessory Twice Over
1 of 1 found this helpful The user manual data on the Etymotics ER-4's notes a flatter frequency response with this essentially simple 75 ohm resistive element placed in series with the earphone drive circuitry. The ER-4 earphones don't exhibit the typical design compromises of regular headphones with regards to frequency response and isolation (or lack thereof with open back headphones).
This was the second adapter I've purchased to augment my first critical listening pair of ER-4's (a second pair of ER-4P's was purchased "used" through e-Bay for recreational listening). This pair is used for on-location classical music live recording monitors to actually assess what's coming through the microphones rather than the nearby acoustic coloring the actual recording environment. The product is excellent for the application, smaller and less expensive than the Etymotic adapter. It's durable, well suited to it's purpose, and provides a smoother frequency response to the listener!
If you're into critical listening isolated from surrounding sounds, this item works very well at providing a true representation for audio playback.

Asus ROG Nomad II V2.0 17" Backpack Laptop Computer Notebook Gamer Gaming Bag US

Nice, roomy bag with a few flaws
If you have the BIG ASUS ROG 17-inch laptops, this is the only backpack type bag that works for it. It's pricey, and it's not light(!) with power supply, desk rodent, and a few other accessories inserted into it (i.e., external hard drive, camera/cellphone, headphones, etc.) which are typical for most gamers. And, yes, if you're a die hard external keyboard user, you could likely find room to pack it in too!
The workmanship is reasonably good, although some of the internal stitching required additional flexible "rubber" gluing to prevent stitching unraveling for some of the internal pockets.
As noted, fully loaded it may well weigh in over 30 pounds (14Kg). Fortunately, there's a padded cross strap "handle" near the top of the back back straps for carrying and lifting. Generally, it either requires assistance to strap it on, or a reasonable amount of one-armed strength to lift the back pack from behind you, straight up over your head, to then fit your free arm through the straps.
Overall, if you have a strong back and arms, it is recommended for a large ROG or other BIG laptop. It's robust and well padded to protect whatever you place in the bag. And is "small" enough for airline carry-on; incorporating a separate compartment just for laptop only removal and can be placed under a seat or in an overhead bin.
