Really stunning hardware, but I had to return it
0 of 1 found this helpful So, if you are looking for incredible quality and great low light performance for photos in a zoom lens....you found your product. BUT, if you are looking for those same qualities to shoot video, even with an external mic (yes I tried this) not so much. The auto focus is loud, not deafening loud, but it becomes very prominent when recording video. I don't use the in camera recording so I thought my Rode Mic would eliminate the sound...it doesn't. If you are using a Lav or a boom, you will be fine, but if you are mounting the mic or using in camera (which nobody should), forget it. The auto focus is too loud to be usable.
