My Latest Fuji
0 of 1 found this helpful I've had good luck in the past with Fuji F20 and F45 cameras. The F100fd looked to me like an F45 with more zoom and image stabilization; an attractive package. The camera is just that. It takes dependably good pictures in Auto and Manual modes. Check the Dpreview Fuji forum for good manual settings. The lens is very sharp. I've only noted three negatives, none of which qualify as a big deal. The menu system is overly complicated, even compared to earlier Fuji cameras The zoom lever is all or nothing. The zoom races from full wide to full telephoto so fast it's hard to stop it in between. When it does stop, it bounces back a little. Not at all accurate. Also, shot to shot times are slow. Even with that, the F100 is an excellent walking around camera. Great size for a shirt or jacket pocket. I find myself often choosing to take it along in preference to a drawer full of other cameras.

I'll Pass
I'm sure these "guards" are well intentioned. . But, after installing them I share the concern of those who think they could injure hummingbirds. I chose not to use them.
