About
I have a penchant for dressing retro and am passionate about dolls! Dolls are works of art, reflect human history, can capture fashions of their time. My heart always will be larger than my budget -- til I can afford to live in Monaco (impossible!).

Removable Victorian Dress Pattern for Your Dollhouse Doll
This unusual, delightful item brings me pleasure every time I peer into the sewing room of my dollhouse: a "Vogue Patterns" miniature dress pattern for your Victorian doll that has realistic details for sewing a dress.
Until I came across this actual pattern under highly skilled miniatures artist Deb, I had never seen this type of dollhouse accessory. I actually can remove the pattern, which arrives to you inserted into the "Vogue Patterns" envelope, which features two ladies in Victorian garb. How quaint!
Both the envelope and the tissue-paper pattern are unbelievably sturdy, but as with all dollhouse decor and accessories, handling items gingerly is a requisite for the miniaturist's hobby. I can't imagine my dollhouse's sewing machine table without this pattern nearby, and I plan to purchase more.

Delicious Meatloaf & Mash, And It's Shelf-Stable!
One can count on Hormel Compleats meals. They're all yummy. During this Covid-19 pandemic, a person would do well to avoid running to the supermarket every week or even every two weeks. I selected the meatloaf and mashed potatoes meal this time around, and it was delicious as always.
How can one go wrong? The directions are so easy to follow, an older child who is permitted by parent(s) or guardian(s) to use a microwave can heat up this meal. In one minute, it's ready to serve. One meat loaf with mashed potatoes is quite filling for me as an adult. So a pack of six can feed one or two adults and several children. In these horrible months of food insecurity -- both before and during the Covid-19 pandemic -- food pantries and shelters would do well to provide Hornel Compleats meals to so many individuals and families who face hunger. There but the grace of God go ... we.
Happy Thanksgiving in advance to all who are reading my review today.

Versatile Tote/Backpack Excels in Style & Function
1 of 1 found this helpful I like to roam under the radar. No, despite my eBay I.D. I really am not some kind of suave Mod government agent. (Only in my fantasies is that so.) What I am-- no, make that what I was, until I began slinging my Tuff Togs tote/backpack, was the kind of lady you'd walk right past on Any Street USA -- and on Any Street Planet Earth. And I was good with that. I used to go from point A to point B without any strangers talking up a storm with me, only to walk away content to expel their excess endorphins.
Now, I can't get through a work commute, run a supermarket errand or (egad!) float incognita from the front desk to my hotel room without someone stopping me to ask: "WHERE did you get that backpack?" And that was a dude inquiring. One mad-stylish colleague who would never ask me for the time of day nearly made me late in reporting for work when she had me backtracking with my backpack popping. "Girl," she said, "I LIKE that bag! I want one like that. Can you get me onnnnne?"
I'm not used to all this attention, seriously. But just when I think I'll let my Tuff Togs tote/bag/backpack take a rest, it beckons me: "C'mon, girl, lay me on your back. Toss me over your shoulder. Heck, just let me hold your hand. Don't leave me hangin' ..."
And then it's me and my Tuff Togs, roaming again, fly and functional -- making burdens light and making light of a quotidian life.
