Good for parts only
It's great in theory and would work well if its pieces didn't need to be mixed with the original factory key fob. The problem was that it came without the tiny screws that hold the battery compartment cover so I had to use the screws from my Toyota factory fob. But, of course Toyota won't let its screws fit some imitation fob. So I basically just used this fob for the buttons and affixed it to my Toyota fob. But that fob is merely "superglued" together so once I opened it, I could not get it back together or able to merge with the buttons from this new fob without more superglue which was messy. Maybe a better solution would be if this fob could be sold with screws for the battery compartment.
Either way, this product was not the COMPLETE solution that I had hoped and not worth $18. Maybe it would be worth half that, at best. The whole new fob pieces do snap together nicely so if it had the screws for the battery cover and I didn't need to mix and match the old and new pieces, then this would have worked much better and I would rate it closer to 5 stars.
