Very special!
This is an excellent multipurpose knife. However you must maintain it like a true katana blade as it is made the same. It's a true Japanese forged blade.

Amazing design and quality!
Let me start off by saying this company has excellent service! The even put in a small ceramic fruit knife as a gift which was very courteous of them I highly recommend this company. As for the knife design it is basically a urasian Uzbek pchak knife made with modern materials and Japanese precision. It is surgical sharp. Buy this knife. About 1 month to ship to the east coast of the USA. Definitely worth it.
