Ram Mount HandStand Great Product But Not Compatible with Vehicle Ram Mount System
The handstand that I purchased for my Samsung Active 3 is not an ideal solution if the intent is to switch from car mount usage to hand mount.
Handstand requires screwing a bolt on to mount (3-5 minutes) and once on, it is no longer compatible with the car mount system (“X” claw or what ever they call it) without removing the Handstand. This design functionality was not clearly defined anywhere and would have passed on purchasing it if I was aware of this shortcoming.
It is a great stand and very robust however, I want to run it in my vehicle with a Ram Mount. Because the Samsung Active 2 are relatively inexpensive ($100-$150) and I am looking to run only Google Maps & Waze simultaneously, I might get the Active 2 for the vehicle and kept the Active 3 (with Handstand) with Netflix and Prime Video in my house or travel bag.
