NOT SAFE TO USE ON PETS
When I clipped the clasp at the end of the retractable cord onto my 7 pound toy poodle's harness and took her out all she did was pull once and the retractable cord came off of the metal hook from the hook it was knotted onto. There is not way of securely knotting the retractable cord so that it does not detach from the unit. Very poorly made and not safe to take your pet out on.

The pad gripper on the unit comes off and is not securely glued on
It is flimsily made and not worth the money.

NOT WIDE ENOUGH FOR TOY POODLE
I bought the size that is supposed to fit a toy poodle, it fits fine around her neck but the tube is not wide enough to stop her from licking the bandage on her rear knee surgery. The regular victorian style e collar works best for this purpose.
Too bad because it is a great idea and comfortable but needs to have a larger diameter.
