OE replacement at good price but needs work to fit
Overall it seems pretty much as the originals and the price is very good, not even worth trying to re-build your old cyclones. However the both that holds the handbrake lever in place is too shallow and it is hard to get the cyclone to sit flush and install the retaining spring clips. After some grinding of the handbrake pivot it fits and works just fine.

For the money you cannot beat this pump
First off this is a newer frame style motor, and the pump housing is solid and well built, the design makes for quieter running than average pumps. Very easy to install and plumb in with either 2" or 1.5" pipe. I replaced an identical pump that failed due to corrosion from a leaking pipe, (not really the pumps fault), so I have used this pump style for 3-4 years in Florida, that means it runs every day of the year. The lid is super easy to remove and clean out the trap, and it re-seals well without much force. Pentair have improved how the electrical wiring connects and is much improved (and easier) than my previous Pentair. Hard to justify spending more.
