Close but no OEM.

The part is not curved enough to fit tight in the console, the chrome is distorted and not smooth as original. Fortunately, my car is a "beater" and this part functions well. This part should not be installed in a nice benz because it will show.

Good quality

These struts are of good quality. They are a bit stiffer than the old ones. More heavy duty than the old ones and so the ride is not as smooth, but satisfactory. Original struts started leaking and may have been softer due to pressure leak. Still happy with purchase.
