Seems Heavy Duty
Just got haven't used much so far but seems to be working great, Love the size and sturdiness of it. I don't think its all that quiet but really wasn't a deal breaker.

Light weight
I bought these for are cruise and that is not till Dec so I haven't checked out the range all that far yet. But husband and grandson walked a few blocks over and I stayed in house and they seemed to be clear with no static.
