OEM Nikon Batteries are the only ones to buy

After purchasing many types of aftermarket batteries without a lot of luck, I went back to original equipment stock, and it makes all the difference in the world. Charges stay longer when the battery is static or in use, so I'm not worried about a failure while shooting in a remote location. Not having to carry extra batteries around makes a big difference to me. I would caution against black market batteries from China. They are often offered on e-bay and they are not worth the money. Buy from a seller that states original Nikon batteries...
