Fun and worthwhile
I bought this for my seven year old grand-son. Actually this is the second model because we unpacked the first one carelessly and made mistakes early on. Lego sets do not tolerate mistakes well. We could take it apart and rebuild which is not really an option because that leaves many unorganized pieces scattered around.
My grand-son was very unhappy and I replaced it. The second time we worked slowly and he was very careful about aligning all pieces and checking his work closely. A great lesson in success growing from failure.
In fact he grew so proud and confident that near the end when I was concerned we missed something he said "Calm down Buddy, I got this covered."
So maybe that isn't about Lego but it sure is about extraordinary value.
