Still a great laptop for most people
3 of 3 found this helpful I decided to buy the 2015 Macbook Pro Retina in 2017, because it still has plenty of power for what I need it to do (creating documents, some photo editing, streaming in 1080p, web browsing) plus it has more connectivity options than most modern laptops. Prices on Ebay are very reasonable now as well.
Pros:
- excellent build quality
- connectivity: 1x HDMI output, card reader, 2x Thunderbolt, 2x USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0
- great colorful screen
- still plenty of processing power and fast 250 GB HD.
Cons:
- bit heavy compared to newer laptops
- no mega resolution screen (if you want that)
- No USB Type-C output (if you would really need that.
