Raleigh 2018 Redux 1 Urban Assault Bike MD Blue

Great commuting bike
Love this bike. I’m on my second redux now since my first got stolen here in NYC. But they’re so inexpensive so I just got another! I use it for commuting and the WTB horizons tires are Awesome! Fast rolling and cushy! Shimano 8 speed is just worry free and works so well. I ended up replacing the cranks just to save a little weight. The stock chainring and chain guard are very heavy. If you can afford the Redux version with the hydraulic brakes I’d get those. My redux is now a speedy nimble urban commuter with a front carrying rack. It’s the perfect commuting bike. But I’ve even gone Bikepacking on it!

Affordable Handsome Sturdy
Handsome and Sturdy rack if installed properly. Weighed in at 3lb with all the attachments. Tubing might be a little large for some bungee net hooks. Used it on a bumpy 10 mile work commute under load and it works fine. If I had to nitpick, it’s more of a square shape rather than a rectangular shape rack that I prefer.
