Better than original
1 of 1 found this helpful This product is larger and of a denser foam that what was on a new cane. It fits me well with larger hands. It is also a bit coarser that helps being non-slip when my hands become sweaty. It is also more durable than what was on the store bought cane. It is holding up much longer in wear and tear.

Almost like Shurlite Lighters from the past
This lighter has performed very well. I have already gone thru one flint in the process of doing copper sweat plumbing work. I have an old Shurlite Lighter, 40 years old. The one difference is in the original 40 year old Shurlite Lighter, it has a roller barrel scratch surface, that rotates, for the flint to drag across. The new Shurlite Lighter has a fixed flat surface. Thus the cupped head is much shallower. Still works the same but may not last as long as original. But for the price, does the job and has already gone thru 2 1/2 bottles of propane for copper plumbing sweat joints. Very happy with performance.
