PreSonus Firestudio Project Digital Recording Interface

Great choice for home studio
This interface works very well with my Mac and with Logic/iTunes/audacity, etc. There are more inputs than you are likely to need for most home projects. You will be happy with PreSonus Firestudio Project!

Suitable for studio and stage
Although my MIDI keyboard has been getting the job done for years, the EWI5000 has taken data capture to a new level. Expression control is amazing! The instrument has a good variety of sounds on-board and the wireless feature seems to be perfect for live performance. I'll probably use the instrument as a Midi controller most of the time, but I could absolutely enjoy this device in a performance setting.
Learning the fingerings takes a little bit of time, so allow a couple of weeks to become familiar with it. And plan to spend some time getting comfortable with seven (!) octave keys.

Step up
This is a step up from the Shure SM58. More expensive but well worth the extra bucks.
