It turns on and displays its menu options. I haven't yet downloaded the software to see if the scanner works with it. I anticipate this will go well. The only thing missing in the description which I would have liked to know is the number of scans it already did. I found this number displayed in the scanner's menu, so it is easy to find out, and a good thing to know when considering buying a used machine.
