Not Genuine Braun Part
1 of 2 found this helpful Though it did not say so in the eBay ad and it did arrive in the pictured Braun hanger blister pack (giving the impression that it is genuine Braun when looking at the ad), it is not a genuine Braun product. The portion of the head that holds the foil is made out of plastic whereas the genuine Braun product is made out of metal.
I looked at both my old genuine Braun head and this one under a magnifying loop and you can see definite differences. The holes in the Braun foil are hexagonal with very defined corners. The holes on the aftermarket part are more like an oval, without the distinct corners and hexagonal shape.
The result is that it takes me three to four times as many passes to get the same shave quality as the genuine Braun part. The 10 bucks I save were not worth it. I will not buy this part again. Live and Learn...
