Not like the old days, but we're happy with it
Its a nice design, and its 2-year-old owner seems to love it. It is not quite as heavy or strong as what we remember having years ago, so I am not sure it will last through the generations of the young family just getting started, but we cannot seem to find anything like we remember having, are are content with this.

Don't Love the Timer but Do Love Everything Else
Really great so far. Only complaint is the timer, limited to 40 sec. Sometimes what you need is 50 seconds, which requires resetting it constantly (resetting it is not as simple as punching in a time - you need to rotate a knob calibrated in tenths of a second, I think, so it's a lot of turning), or stand there and manually stop it.
But it's a small complaint. The grind is smooth and consistent, and I'm very pleased.
