XPF 20A Wired-In Noise Filter

Great filter for heavy loads (20A)

Powerful UPS, handles PFC

APC BR1500G is highly recommended. Produces about 900W of electricity, has 1500VA of power. Was uncertain if it could handle APFC power supplies (the new ones) without shutting down, but after testing the unit by disconnecting the plug, worked no problem. Also concerned that the unit would not handle my PC and associated hardware, but after everything was hooked up, my setup only pulled less than 300W, and the unit could power that long enough to shut everything down safely. Added plus, replacement batteries are about $20 each (uses 2), so when the batteries die (suggested life is 3 years) I don't have to purchase this again -- just replace. Bad part is that it comes with a proprietary USB cable (one end looks normal USB, other end looks like RJ45, but is expanded), not sure why they did that... why not just a standard USB cable? The powerchute software (APC brand power management software) seems to work fine and has plenty of options to please all. Recommended!
