Works great as a wand, but as flat iron: meh
I found the flat iron aspect creases the hair too much because it doesn't glide very smooth if you are using a styling product. Also tends to pinch your hand when closing tongs. Lock the tongs closed and it's a wonderful wand for small spiral curls.

Save your money
The thread doesn't stay taunt so it's useless. Thumbs down.

Smaller than I thought
You get exactly what you see but it's smaller than I expected. Still a good deal.
