Ram quality
Ram stuff is pricey but it just works.

Good partner
Hard to find in excellent condition, no longer made. It's the partner for the Peavey Classic 30, a highly underrated amp.
I had a chance to buy a like new one years ago, and turned it down. For years I kicked myself and watched all the sites. This was the best one that's come along yet!

You need it.
There's two factors in buying a weather radio. 1. It sends an alarm in case of dangerous weather near you. 2. It can be turned off. That's important because the radio is always listening, the batteries die in a week. Thus it needs a real "OFF" ,and this has one.
(My similar Radio Shack does not.)
