Very nice basswood
Very nice basswood. Haven't found any 'flaws' in the wood so far. Good quality and price.

Fantastic Paint Bottle Holder!
1 of 1 found this helpful This little jewel is made surprisingly quite well. I was a little leery about it until I opened the box.
I have put a larger, 15 ml, Vallejo paint bottle in it and it holds it very well. Its fully adjustable for all angles if necessary and the claws are padded for extra grip. I'll be buying a few more for when I have more than one bottle open at the same time.
Only con might be it's weight. Although the base is nice and wide I, personally, would like a weight on the bottom for a little more stability. It's pretty good as is though. Don't take it the wrong way, I'm just known as a 'stumble-bum' and knock things over all the time.
You'll notice my profile in that I rarely review anything unless it's really bad or really good and this one is really really good. If I could give it more stars, I would! Excellent product!

Too Lightweight, No Good
Using just a little bit of 'torque' will break the upper jaw. It is only plastic. WallMart sells these for $2 a piece and they're just too light weight to do any kind of holding force, including model building.
Save your money and look elsewhere for something made of metal.
