Clean sounding analytical headphones that do not fatigue.

There have been many reviews from reputable mainstream publications and reviewers which will offer more detail than I will now offer, which I suggest you should seek out. Some of the main points that should be considered are as follows: Not for bass heads, although they do go very low without distortion. The sensitivity is quite low owing to the high 62 Ohms impedance which makes them unsuitable for most portable equipment. The sound is a little bright, maybe more an indication of current accepted norms. The cushions are on the hard side for prolonged listening, I found that the comfort and sealing was best with the thickest section facing downwards rather than backwards as recommended. The supplied 3 and 6 metre cables may be useful in many cases, but I bought a 1 metre for more covenient use with my laptop. Although I have listed the possible cons for some users above, these remain clean sounding headphones that compare with the very best.

Convenient features and low cost

A lightweight all plastic design with some useful features. Easy labelling with slide in cards supplied, the drives themselves are colour coded which helps quick identification. The built-in LED activity indicator is a helpful feature. The speed, although not exceptional, is as good as some of my older 3.0 drives and 5 times the speed of some older 2.0 drives. On the negative side they are are little too wide to use alongside other USB devices when plugged into adjacent USB ports on a laptop, this is not a problem confined only to Lexar drives. The all plastic construction might not be as robust as their metal counter-parts, but with reasonable care should not be a problem, I have never had any problems on this issue. I have bought many of the Lexar 8GB versions in the past that have been in costant use for some time with no problems. I would have no hesitation in recommending these drives and I will probably be buying more in the future.
