To dye 4 or 5…

I purchased five of these because I wanted to die a brand new sofa cover and I wanted it to be extra black to go with my home decor. I followed the instructions to the T. I used extra dye, 5 of them in my solution and it looks like nothing happened! there were no streaks, no blotches, not a glimmer of black remains.. I purchased the covers gray; it is still gray, perfectly gray! it looks like I did nothing to it and this was an hour and a half process of boiling water and putting in salt and stirring, you know- like the instructions instructed! Complete waste of time.. I can’t recommend this product.
