The grip stays
I was searching for the True Grip, but looks like those are no longer sold or at least they’re more difficult to find, so I went with the Versa Tack. I’ve had it before and, just like the True Grip, the grip stays around even as the ball gets scuffed up. It’s not a Wilson Evolution (indoor ball), but I highly recommend it for outdoor hoops.

Not ideal as a consistent clipper
First off, this product arrived on time, so no issues there. Everything was intact, but the cost doesn’t match what you get. There’s a few standout issues. 1) It’s smaller than most clippers. I guess comfort grip means size as opposed to the actual grip. It’s noticeably smaller than my last Wahl clippers. 2) The cord gets in the way when trying to cut the back. It’s not a great proportion of clipper to cord size, and should be thinner. 3) There’s no lever to trim in 1/2 increments. I didn’t realize that until I purchased it, but you miss it when trying to fade. Honestly, I would only pay about $30-35 tops for this as a backup trimmer, but to do a proper haircut it’s not ideal and certainly not worth the inflated costs of $60-70+. I’ve decided to splurge and get the cordless Wahl magic clippers and keep this as a backup. We’ll see how it goes.
