Looks the part
Strangely enough, the box has a label on it stating this air cleaner is not compatible with Edelbrock carbs equipped with electric choke, my carb has an electric choke and this air cleaner fits perfectly, very odd. The finish on the chrome is superb, the element is of good quality and the base plate has a nice finish and is very sturdy. This will really brighten up any engine bay, strongly recommended, especially at USAutomotives price, great value.

Dont waste your money
This product was advertised as able to remove stains, it doesn't, it does clean the fabric but will not shift marks or stains, I followed the instructions to the letter and given the expensive price of the product, I expected better, all the stains are still there although the colour of the roof is brighter, but that alone does not validate the high cost of the product. There are far cheaper products on the market that do the job just as well, would I recommend it?, only if you have money to waste.

If you're gonna have one, have a big 'un.
This kit is simply stunning, it's size alone will guarantee it will be noticed, that is if you can find somewhere to display it!!.
The envelope halves are now injected plastic, as opposed to the vac formed ones in the original kit, they are a tribute to the mould makers art, dead straight, no warp and huge. The kit goes together easily, the only negative comment I would add would be, why oh why did they have to mould the engine halves in nylon, instead of plastic, it makes it so difficult to fill and sand, however, once that hurdle is overcome, a very imposing model will be the result, especially if the envelope panels are painted in slightly differing shades of silver and aluminium. A very handy ship like stand is included, which is very useful in holding the model steady when adding details, as well as it's intended job of displaying the airship.
In conclusion, I would recommend this kit to anyone with even a slight interest in the history of lighter than air flight, despite it's size, it is not a difficult kit to assemble, as long as your workbench is big enough.
A plus point is the interesting history of the zeppelin included in the instruction manual.
