Wonderful, Sturdy Little Pool
This 7×5 (ish) ft 23" deep pool is perfect for our needs. I have 2 kids, 1 learning to swim and one that is still intimidated by the water. My toddler can hold onto the bars to support himself while walking, or he can sit on me while his older brother plays. We will eventually get a larger pool, but this size is perfect for a "bigger pool" introduction and an upgrade from a kiddie pool.

Simple, Enjoyable, and NOT Intimidating!
2 of 2 found this helpful A few years back, I purchased a pilates dvd AND yoga dvd from different instructors. I didn't even get through the first 10 minutes of them. After sitting in my cabinet for a few months, I finally got rid of them.
I started trying yoga and pilates again after a recent car accident in the fall of 2009. Taebo was too stressful for my body, and to be honest, while it's a great workout, it's a HARD workout. Sometimes I don't do Taebo at ALL, because I dread the strain on my body, and the length of time I'm forced to put aside from my busy day. I needed something I'd stick to, even if that means it's less challenging...A SMALL workout is better than NO workout! With that said, I looked for a simple beginner's yoga OR pilates DVD at my local Border's bookstore.
I used this DVD the night I made the purchase. I really really enjoy it, and I'm not intimidated to use it again. I actually LOOK FORWARD to the next workout!
You have 4 choices, 1) a 10 minute warm up routine, 2) a 10 minute CORE stregthening routine, 3) a 20 minute Foundation workout, or 4) another 20 minute workout. Even in the 10 minute session, it really works you out, all while comfortable laying or sitting on the floor.
The instructor is straight to the point, easy to understand, and isn't annoying. It's just her, and no other people in the background. The music is modern and simple. You'll be done in no time, and you'll feel accomplished, not sweaty, exhausted, or afraid to ever exercise with that dvd again.
All in all, it's a great quick workout session and cuts to the chase. My only wish is that there are more arm toning exercises. There are a lot of leg, ab, and stretching exercises, but only a couple of arm exercises.
I'll be using this dvd for a long time, and I'm very happy with it. I would highly suggest this dvd for anyone that's new to pilates and is hesitant to try it. This may be the dvd that changes your mind.

Great CD for Ambient/Background Music
Great CD to use when guests are over. They'll be impressed by the different variety. This isn't something you'd hear on the radio or even on satellite radio. It's a nice compilation that keeps you interested.
