maybe I have picky cats
I had a 40" tall cat scratching post - replaced because it was worn out. I have had this several weeks and not one of my 3 cats has sniffed it, I tried crushing some catnip on it and spreading it around, NOTHING....they won't go near it - I have NO idea. But I expect IF they ever do, it will not hold up long, the ball will come off the base with little effort. It looks great but they just don't like it.
