Excellent first step
The horn offers a listening dynamic that is better explained by experts. Very “wide” or “true” sound reproduction. A driver that pairs very well with tube amplifiers. I did purchase this set after discovering an audible shortcoming in the smaller size. There was a definitive mid to low drop from the smaller size that these new drivers can deliver without taking up much space. A subwoofer is a must to really get open body instrument resonance or that tight drum kick. I’m pleased with the value and the conservative aesthetic.

Low wattage and good highs on a budget.
3 of 3 found this helpful This co-ax set does not require high power. Perfect for a factory radio. Basket flange has many mounting options. Tweeter does not extend far beyond the woofer cone, making it able to fit behind factory grills. Quart might of changed hands over the years, but it is still a good product.
