Another Hard to Find Item

The big box stores don’t seem to carry anything that I need to finish my project and this was one of the items that I needed. I didn’t want shiny plated or stainless steel screws that would be immediately visible.

Attach tread.

The low height of the head worked perfectly when I attached tread to a wooden surface. The adhesive backing was notorious for not holding the treads, so I found these truss head screws that fit between and lower then the top of the tread.
