Makes a Great Bass Amp
3 of 4 found this helpful So i bought this amp to add to my collection of tube amp heads....I have many
6L6 , 6v6 type amps but never owned a EL34 type amp and wanted to know
what is so great about a Marshall Plexi ....So i get this thing, plug in and it sounds
like mudd !!! I hated it and thought i would send it back or sell it...but I was curious
what it would sound like as a Bass Amp.....I bought three 5751 preamp tubes to mellow
out the preamp section ( replacement tubes for 12ax7's) and WOW i have two bass
guitars both with active pickups and this amp head plugged into a 4x10 bass cab
sounds great....loud and clear with a vintage Getty Lee kinda sound....best bass amp
tone I've ever had....

Believe was much better
So I finally got around to buying a copy of Ten Thousand Fists .... it's got Stricken and Land of Confusion
those are the only two songs I really like the rest of the cd is weak, melodies are nowhere as strong as
Believe which is one of my favorite hard rock cd's I like every song on Believe was hoping Ten Thousand
Fist would be as good, NOPE !

Keeley 30ms Double Tracker !
I have only spent a few minutes with it so far but it does a great job of double tracking
your original sound, I can think of many uses for this pedal on other instrument as well
like vocal tracks, keyboard, maybe even drums and bass could benefit and be beefed
up to sound bigger thicker.... the built in Reverb sounds great on top of the double
tracking as well.
