HOLY FREAKING COW!!! Not one speck of flash!!! Individually moulded ammo! More parts than a gorilla has chest hairs! Thourough instructions, very well laid out...Not for the faint of heart! If you're a modeling novice, this is NOT for you! This set makes Takom's interiors look like toys. WOW! SIMPLY WOW!

AMT 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL
She's an older kit and it shows. I dream of AMT, Polar Lights, or Revell Monogram doing an updated model of this car. The chassis is one molded piece with molded in rear-end. Car needs a 427 instead of the whatever that engine is that is in the kit... a 406??? I didn't even know Ford made a 406, tells what a great engine choice that is. It would have been nice if AMT had included NASCAR parts... anywhoo, I digress. The kit comes with a base/pen holder, and a sheet of BMF. The quality of the BMF is poor and I have yet to come across one of these kits that the chrome foil (BMF) is not damaged...Remember this is an old mold, lost of flash and fit issues. But if you want a 63 Galaxie 500 XL 2dr fastback, this is your only option. Happy modeling!!!!!!
