Large and in Charge... but sticky.
The extra large dental bowl gives plenty of room to mix whatever you need to. It is a thick rubber of decent quality. Not particularily firm but not very soft. My problem with this bowl is that it came in with a very sticky, oily surface finish. Inside the package everything had a slightly green hue to it. When I first pulled out the bowl my first thought was "this is perfect." However, that green residue got all over my hands and was fairly difficult to get off. Multiple washings with soap, then denatured alcohol, and finally mineral spirits did not cut this icky stuff. At the end of the day, I wanted to just mix cement in it so that didn't really matter as long as it performed. So, I threw some gloves on and went to town creating. After scraping the sides very hard with a pallet knife several times and regular use (for a little over a week), it has finally started to loose the sticky feel. My guess is that either it got very hot during shipping (its summer and cars etc can over 120 F) or this was an artifact of a molding process that could be leaching out. All in all, I didn't pay a lot so I didn't really expect a lot. I have bought these kinds of bowls elsewhere and they were a much thinner material but not sticky. I would still recommend it but probably not to medical professionals.

Comfortable with Good styling, but TRICKY to install
Looks great, feels great, functions great... however, the install is a bit tricky. Unfortunately within a couple seconds of just attempting to see how hard it was going to be to install, a small tear formed. From what I could tell, the plastic piece I cut out was sharp and caused the cut (which annoying because that is how the packaging said to do it). Overall I love it but I hate the tear it has now. Not sure how long it will last in this state. In short: I like it but am very upset it didn't install as described while being as gentle as possible.

Questionable Quality, Good Value, Useful
First, I will start with the GOOD: I'm impressed with the speed of the 4 CFU pump. I was afraid it would take forever to get to a full vacuum. Thankfully, it only takes a minute or two. The pot reaches and holds a full vacuum very well. The gasket on the lid works very well and seems to be of good quality. The pot seems sturdy and 2 gallons is a very useful size. Likely the perfect size for most hobbyists. The price seems reasonable for the whole setup and the quality I was expecting. Overall it is as good as I could hope for but nothing exceeded my expectations besides the pump speed.
The BAD: There are no instructions. I'm very handy when it comes to assembling things so it was not too much of an issue. However, if you are not, you may find it a bit tricky and frustrating to put together. Frankly, I'm not certain I put it together perfectly (no way to confirm) but it does hold pressure. The pressure gauge works as of now but the oil seems to be getting lower. It also came without thread tape so that may need to be added later. The unit came in somewhat used looking. There was a large ding in the plexiglass lid and some oil residue as well as other signs of previous use or shipping abuse. The pump doesn't come with oil so that has to be purchased elsewhere. The cap to fill oil leaks oil while the pump is running. The pump also emits an oil vapor while it is running that can only be seen in some lighting (not sure if that is actually an issue or just how it works).
In summary: I would purchase again. Some of the issues I had I believe are just my unit in particular. The pot and lid should last a long time. The other parts: likely not. If vacuuming resins or silicone a couple times a week you should be pretty happy with this setup.
