great casual camera, takes excellent photos and is easy to use, lightweight. Just a little flimsy feeling, not cheap, just inexpensively made

I expected less capable photo quality, but was pleasantly surprised with a good lens attached.

One of pentax best

Great build, sturdy but not too heavy. Optically excellent. Even great wide open. Better than I expected by far. Great useful range and very smooth in operation. Not the fastest focus but for pentax quite good.

Surprisingly good lens

Surprisingly good IQ in this latest lens with OS. The OS is better than IBIS (which should be turned off when using the lens stab). Really surprised by the sharpness, color and rendition at longest focal length. This is what I wanted and the lens delivers. IQ ranks up there with more expensive lenses. I am totally satisfied, except for the old fashioned rotating focus barrel mechanism. No picture because it will not demonstrate IQ very well. Let me just say that at 200X the resolution remains pixel sharp on my copy.
